The core AC-262 dosage is 20 mg a day, taken with a breakfast that has fat in it. AC-262 is the quiet one in the Natural Plus stack. You won’t feel it in a week, but over two or three months it adds muscle, strength and recovery on top of everything else you are running. In the book, AC-262 shows up in five chapters, with different doses for men, older men and women, so this page puts all of them in one place, together with what the research actually shows.
AC-262, full name AC-262536, is a selective androgen receptor modulator, a SARM. It was developed by Acadia Pharmaceuticals in the 2000s, but it never went into human trials.
In Natural Plus, it is the anabolic signal. The other compounds handle fat burning (GW-501516), growth hormone (MK-677) and nutrient partitioning (SLIN Pills). AC-262 is the one that tells your muscles to grow, through the same receptor testosterone uses.
Testosterone activates androgen receptors everywhere, including muscle, bone, prostate, skin and hair follicles. That is why steroids build muscle, and also why they cause acne, hair loss and prostate growth.
A SARM, however, is built to be selective. It activates the androgen receptor strongly in muscle and bone, and weakly in the prostate and skin. In the rat study that characterized AC-262, it reached about 66 percent of testosterone’s maximum effect on muscle, but only about 27 percent on the prostate [1]. In other words, it is a partial agonist: strong enough to build, weak enough to keep most androgenic side effects away.
That partial effect is also why AC-262 is subtle. It is a gentler signal than testosterone, so the results build slowly. In return, it is the kind of compound you can run on a Natural Plus base.
Before you pick an AC-262 dosage, know what the evidence is. AC-262 has never been tested in humans. Everything we know comes from animal studies, mainly one study in rats from 2008 [1]. In that study it built muscle with a weak effect on the prostate, but it also lowered LH, the signal that tells your testes to make testosterone. So the book calls it non-suppressive, but the only data says you should confirm that with labs. The full picture is below.
